Campaign to raise awareness on disabilities .
Hello every one :-)
Our first campaign would be about raising awareness on disabilities issues.
The idea would be to have some volunteers who are willing to put their feet in the shoes of people with disabilities for a limited time here on campus . for example we would request some to be blindfolded and spend some time here on campus with only use of cane to really feel what might me to have visual impairment or we provide wheelchairs for those who wants to get a sense of difficulties you may face on campus ,etc .
Also we are trying to have a guest speaker and showing a short movie /documentary on issues relating to disabilities .
Also we will be distributing some hand bands and brochures.
we are steel open to any suggestions to have a great campaign so get involved and start participating .
